Gaming Proxies For Silkroad, Metin2 & Knight Online

What is a gaming proxy?

A gaming proxy is a fixed IP connection prepared to route a game client's internet traffic through a specific proxy server. It is especially useful when you run multiple game clients on the same computer and want each client to exit through a different IP.

A proxy does not guarantee faster internet. Latency depends on your connection, the proxy location, the route, and the game server. The closest-looking location may not deliver the lowest ping; test in a real game session.

Which games can it be used with?

WeProxy gaming packages are offered for the Metin2, Knight Online, and Silkroad Online options listed on the product page. Each game has a different executable and connection behavior, so using the correct Proxifier rule matters.

During setup, route only the relevant game executable instead of the whole computer. That way updaters, browsers, and other apps keep using the normal connection. Follow the Proxifier steps in the integration guides for your game.

Why does a fixed IP matter?

If the IP changes while a game session is active, the connection can drop. That is why a fixed IP is used instead of a rotating pool. When you have multiple clients, note which IP is assigned to which client and avoid moving the same account across addresses unnecessarily.

Using a proxy does not override game rules or guarantee protection from penalties. Use the service in proxy with the game's rules, WeProxy terms, and applicable law.

Frequently asked questions

Does a proxy lower ping?

Sometimes it can provide a better route; sometimes it adds latency. The result can only be measured on your own connection and target server.

Can each game client get a separate IP?

If you have enough proxies, you can route clients to separate connections with Proxifier rules. Match rules carefully to each executable.
