Guide

Product guide

A static residential IPv4 is an ISP-sourced IP that stays fixed for your package period. Türkiye packages use Türk Telekom and Vodafone with HTTP and SOCKS5.

What is a static residential IPv4 proxy?

A static residential IPv4 is an IPv4 address from the blocks an internet service provider (ISP) assigns to home users, and it stays fixed for you for the whole package period. The target site sees the IP as an ISP network, not a datacenter. The IP does not change between requests: the account you log into today connects from the same address tomorrow.

At WeProxy this product is billed per IP, monthly. Traffic on each IP is unlimited, delivery is instant after payment, and a session keeps the same IP for up to 30 days. Authentication for this product is username / password only; there is no IP whitelist option.

The difference from a rotating pool is duration. Rotating residential changes the IP on every request or after a set sticky window. Static residential is for work that needs a long-lived identity: account management, payment dashboards, ad accounts and services that expect repeat logins from the same IP. For a detailed comparison of the two approaches, see the sticky vs rotating proxy guide.

Which carrier IPs are in the Türkiye packages?

The Türkiye packages of Static Residential IPv4 use IPs on the Türk Telekom and Vodafone networks. In an IP lookup tool, the ASN and organization of these addresses show a Turkish carrier, and the country field shows Türkiye.

In practice this means:

  • Turkish websites: Local e-commerce, classifieds and media sites see the visitor as a home connection in Türkiye. Geo-restricted content and local prices open the way they are shown to a user in Türkiye.
  • Banking and e-government-style local services: Some of these services ask for extra verification on logins from foreign or datacenter IPs. A Turkish carrier IP satisfies one of those checks: the country and network type of the IP. Device, SMS, 2FA and behavioral checks are independent of the IP, so access or approval is not guaranteed. Only access accounts that belong to you.
  • Social accounts: For accounts created and managed in Türkiye, the IP location stays consistent with the account history. Using the same IP on the same account every day produces a more consistent login history than constantly changing IPs.
  • Gaming latency: Exiting from a Turkish carrier network toward game servers in Türkiye can shorten the route. Latency still depends on your own connection, the server location and line load; no specific ping value is promised. Also keep in mind that the Türkiye packages have no UDP: game clients that require UDP will not work with them.

To see the other proxy types for Türkiye on one page, check the Turkey proxy page. There is also a separate Gaming Proxy product for specific Turkish games.

How do UDP and p0f support differ between Türkiye and other countries?

The product is offered in 11 countries: Türkiye, the United States, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Hong Kong and Italy. The protocol and feature set differ between Türkiye and the other countries:

LocationHTTPSOCKS5SOCKS5 UDPp0f OS spoofing
Türkiye (Türk Telekom, Vodafone)YesYesNoNo
US, DE, FR, NL, ES, CA, GB, AU, HK, ITYesYesYesYes

UDP is carried by the SOCKS5 UDP ASSOCIATE command. Game clients, VoIP, DNS over UDP and some real-time streams require it. In the Türkiye packages, SOCKS5 carries TCP connections only. You can read how UDP works on the UDP proxy page and in the SOCKS5 UDP guide.

p0f OS spoofing relates to the TCP/IP fingerprint. Passive tools such as p0f guess the operating system from the TTL, window size and TCP options in the first packets of a connection. If the browser says Windows while the TCP layer looks like a Linux server, that mismatch can be a signal. In packages outside Türkiye this fingerprint can be adjusted to an operating system profile; the Türkiye packages do not have this feature.

In short: if you need UDP or a consistent TCP fingerprint, pick a location outside Türkiye. If you need a Turkish IP, work over HTTP or SOCKS5 over TCP.

What is the difference between static residential, rotating residential, ISP and static datacenter?

ProductIP sourceIP behaviorBillingProtocolLocationsBest for
Static Residential IPv4ISP / residential IPv4Fixed for the package periodPer IP monthly, unlimited trafficHTTP, SOCKS5 (+UDP outside Türkiye)11 countriesLong-lived accounts, local logins
Rotating Residential IPv4Residential IPv4, 100M+ IP poolSticky or changing per requestPer GBHTTP, SOCKS5180+ countriesScraping, SEO, automation

Static Datacenter IPv4Datacenter, dedicated IPv4Static, fixed ASN and locationPer IP monthly, unlimited bandwidthHTTP, SOCKS5US, GB, NL, DE, CAAutomation that needs a fixed IP

A simple rule for choosing: if the target site accepts datacenter IPs, static datacenter is enough. If you need many different IPs, rotating residential fits better. If the same identity must stay fixed for weeks and the IP must look like an ISP network, choose static residential. For a general comparison of the types, see the residential, mobile, datacenter and ISP proxy guide.

How do you set up and test a static residential IPv4?

  1. Pick the location. Choose the Türkiye package if you need a Turkish IP, or one of the other 10 countries if you need UDP or p0f.
  2. Get the connection details. Once the order is active, the IP, port, username and password appear in the customer dashboard.
  3. Choose the protocol. Use HTTP for browsers and HTTP clients, and SOCKS5 for a general application-level tunnel. Prefer the socks5h:// scheme so DNS queries are also resolved through the proxy.
  4. Try the connection on the command line. Replace HOST:PORT with the values from the dashboard:
curl -x "http://USER:PASSWORD@HOST:PORT" https://api.ipify.org
curl -x "socks5h://USER:PASSWORD@HOST:PORT" https://api.ipify.org
  1. Verify the exit IP. After enabling the proxy in your browser, check that the address shown by the My IP tool matches the IP in the dashboard.
  2. Check the ASN and country. Enter the same IP in the IP lookup tool. For a Türkiye package, the organization field should show Türk Telekom or Vodafone.
  3. Close leaks. Make sure WebRTC and DNS requests do not reveal your real IP; the steps are in the DNS leak guide.

If you get 407, check the username and password; this product does not authenticate by IP whitelist. For other codes, use the proxy error codes guide.

How many accounts should you run on one static IP?

The recommended setup is one account per IP. The advantage of a static IP is consistency; when several accounts log in from the same IP, platforms can link those accounts, and a restriction on one account can affect the others.

In practice:

  • Pair each account permanently with a single IP and keep that mapping in a spreadsheet.
  • Keep the browser profile's time zone and language consistent with the IP's country.
  • Do not log into the same account from the static IP one day and from your home connection the next.
  • Renew the package on time; if it expires, do not assume the IP will stay the same.

Follow the target platform's terms of service and the acceptable use policy.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a static residential IP stay the same?

The IP stays the same for the package period you buy, and a session keeps the same address for up to 30 days. The product is billed per IP, monthly. If you renew the package on time, you can plan to continue with the same IP; after it expires, do not assume the same address will be assigned to you again. Current package periods are listed in the package table on the product page.

Why is there no UDP in the Türkiye packages?

The Türkiye packages provide HTTP and SOCKS5 from the Türk Telekom and Vodafone networks; SOCKS5 there carries TCP traffic only, and p0f OS spoofing is not included. UDP ASSOCIATE and p0f are available in the 10 locations outside Türkiye. If you need gaming, VoIP or DNS over UDP, pick one of those locations or check the UDP proxy page.

Is there a traffic limit on static residential proxies?

No. Traffic on each IP is unlimited, and the fee is charged per IP, monthly. That makes costs easier to predict than per-GB rotating packages for high-volume work done under a single identity. The practical limit is your own connection and the request rate the target site accepts. Packages and periods are shown on the product page.

Can I use IP whitelisting with this product?

No. Static Residential IPv4 supports username / password authentication only. The credentials appear in the customer dashboard once the order is active. If the password contains characters such as @, : or #, percent-encode them in the proxy URL; otherwise the client misreads the credentials and the proxy returns a 407 error.

Can I choose a Türk Telekom or Vodafone IP?

It is confirmed that the Türkiye packages use these two carriers' networks. Whether a specific carrier can be selected at checkout may depend on the package; confirm it on the package card on the product page or with the support team. You can see the carrier of the IP you received in the organization and ASN fields of the IP lookup tool. No carrier names are stated for other countries.

Should I choose static residential or a static ISP proxy?

Both provide a fixed IP and are billed per IP, monthly. Static Residential IPv4 is available in 11 countries including Türkiye and includes SOCKS5 UDP and p0f OS spoofing outside Türkiye. Static ISP IPv4 is currently offered only in the US location. If you need a Turkish IP or UDP, choose static residential; if you only need the US, compare both product pages.
