Sneaker Proxy

A sneaker proxy routes your traffic to sneaker stores and resale marketplaces through an IP in the country you choose, so you see that region's prices, stock and store view. Rotating residential suits price and restock monitoring; static residential suits team accounts and test points.

Which proxy when?

Sticky or static proxies suit long sessions and account consistency; rotating proxies fit high-volume crawling and distributed requests. Pick the closest product below.

IPv6 proxy packages are a cost-effective option, but the target site must support IPv6. You can check whether a site supports IPv6 with the IPv6 Checker. If you need help, contact our support team.

What is a sneaker proxy used for?

A sneaker proxy routes your traffic to sneaker stores and resale marketplaces through an IP address in the country or city you choose, instead of your own connection. The store sees which country and which network the request comes from through that IP, and shows prices, currency, size stock and delivery options accordingly. A proxy changes only the network layer; it does not change your account, your payment details or the store's purchase rules.

Legitimate uses of proxies in the sneaker space:

  • Price, stock and restock monitoring. Checking at regular intervals the price of the same model in the Türkiye, Germany, UK or US stores, its stock per size, and whether it has come back in stock.
  • Resale market research. Tracking a model's price range by region on second-hand and resale platforms, the number of listings, and how the price changes after release.
  • Store localization testing. A retailer that sells sneakers verifying that its own store opens from different countries with the right language, currency, size chart and shipping options.
  • Account separation in reseller teams. In a business where several employees manage seller accounts, each account connects from its own fixed network source.

For the general framework of price and stock monitoring, see the market research use case. Similar monitoring and testing work on the Turkish ticketing side is covered on the Passo proxy page.

Which proxy type should I choose for sneaker work?

The choice depends on two questions: does the job require a logged-in account, and which country's store is targeted? For monitoring public product pages, IP changes are not a problem. If you work with an account, the IP must stay the same.

Datacenter IPs are registered to the ASNs of hosting companies. Sneaker stores that use bot protection usually apply stricter checks to these ranges, so residential or mobile IPs give more consistent results for monitoring protected stores. The technical differences between types are explained in the residential vs mobile vs datacenter vs ISP proxy comparison.

Rotating or sticky?

If you check a public product page a few times an hour, a new IP for every request is enough. Some stores, however, bind the country selection, the cart or the currency to the session through a cookie. If the IP changes in the middle of a check, the page can fall back to a different country view. On the rotating residential product you can pin the same IP for up to 24 hours by adding a session ID to the username, and for up to 60 minutes on rotating mobile. For details, see the sticky vs rotating proxy guide.

How do you monitor prices and stock in regional sneaker stores?

The same model can release in different countries on different dates, at different prices and with a different size distribution. To see the difference you need to connect to each country's store from that country, because many stores redirect visitors to a regional page based on their IP or show the price in the local currency.

A sound monitoring setup looks like this:

  • Match the country to the IP. Check the German store from a German IP and the Turkish store from a Turkish IP. How country, city and ASN targeting work is covered in the proxy geo-targeting guide.
  • Keep language and currency headers consistent. Using Accept-Language: de-DE with a German IP creates the consistent picture the store expects.
  • Keep the frequency low. Restock checks do not need a request every few seconds, and that load hits the store's infrastructure. Intervals measured in minutes are enough for most monitoring jobs.
  • Take 429 and 403 responses seriously. 429 means you have hit a rate limit; switching IPs without waiting does not solve that, it only spreads the load. For what response codes mean, see the proxy error codes guide.
  • Prefer official sources. If the store offers stock notifications, an email newsletter or a product feed for partners, use those first.

WeProxy packages have no thread or concurrent session limit. Use that to run checks in different countries in parallel and at a low rate, not to raise the request count.

Which country locations should I choose?

Decide locations starting from the list of stores you monitor. For a reseller selling in Türkiye, the Turkish store plus a few European countries for price comparison is usually enough. An analyst tracking US releases picks a US location; someone watching prices in Japan picks Japan. The rotating residential and rotating mobile products list Türkiye, the US, the UK, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Japan and other countries; total coverage is more than 180 locations. Do not set up checks for countries you will not use; every extra country adds traffic and data to manage.

How do you use proxies for resale market research?

Resale prices vary by region, size and time since release. A reseller or retail analyst compares a model's resale price range in the US and Europe to understand which sizes and which regions see more demand.

Points to watch in this work:

  • Work with listing and price pages that are visible without logging in. Do not use personal buyer or seller accounts for research.
  • Do not collect personal data such as seller names, contact details and user reviews; GDPR and Türkiye's KVKK protect this data.
  • If the marketplace has an official API or data program, prefer it. If its terms restrict automated data collection, a proxy does not lift that restriction.
  • Spread requests over rotating residential IPs, but keep the overall rate close to a person's browsing pace.

How do you separate accounts in reseller teams?

In businesses where several employees manage multiple seller accounts from the same office, those accounts are tied to a single network source on the platform side. Even when the accounts are legitimate, many accounts coming from the same IP can trigger security checks. The core rule: one account, one IP, one browser profile.

  • Assign a separate static residential IP to each seller account and keep the mapping in a sheet. Do not hand an IP over to another account later.
  • Do not open the same account from both the proxied profile and your own office connection; a single login without the proxy breaks the separation.
  • Use a separate browser profile for each account. A proxy separates the IP; it does not separate cookies or the browser fingerprint.
  • Set the profile's time zone and language to the IP's country. For a Turkish IP, Europe/Istanbul and tr-TR create a consistent picture.

Account separation does not mean one person opening many buyer accounts to get around a store's "one account per person" rule. That use violates store terms, as described in the rules section below.

How do sneaker stores run localization tests?

A brand or retailer that sells sneakers has to verify that its store works correctly in each country by looking at it from that country. Checks made from the office connection show only one country's view.

A typical test list:

  1. Do the home page and product page redirect to the correct regional store based on the IP?
  2. Is the price shown correctly in the local currency, including taxes?
  3. Does the size chart (EU, US, UK) fit the country?
  4. Are shipping, returns and payment options listed correctly for the country?
  5. Is the same country view kept on the mobile site and in the app?

Static residential IPs, which provide a fixed test point, suit desktop tests; rotating mobile IPs suit mobile view tests. You can check the exit IP's country and network with the IP lookup tool. In the Türkiye location, static residential IPv4 packages come with IPs on the Türk Telekom and Vodafone networks and support HTTP and SOCKS5; Türkiye packages have no UDP. Web page tests run over TCP, so this is not a constraint.

How do you set up a sneaker proxy?

  1. Choose the product. Rotating Residential IPv4 for price, stock and resale monitoring; Rotating Mobile IPv4 for mobile view checks; Static Residential IPv4 for account separation and fixed test points.
  2. Get the details from the panel. After payment, host, port, username and password appear in the customer panel. Instead of username/password you can also authorize with an IP whitelist; both work on HTTP and SOCKS5.
  3. Enter them in your tool. In your monitoring script, browser profile or test tool, set the proxy type (HTTP or SOCKS5), host, port, username and password. To convert between formats, use the proxy format converter.
  4. Verify the exit. In the What is my IP tool, check that the IP, country and carrier are the expected values. Quick check from the command line:
curl -x "http://USER:PASSWORD@HOST:PORT" https://api.ipify.org
  1. Run the first test. Open a single product page of the target store and check that the country, currency and language match the IP's country. Then set your monitoring interval and start at a low rate; if you see 403 or 429, slow down.

Which rules and limits apply when using a sneaker proxy?

Most sneaker stores apply rules such as per-person purchase limits, one raffle entry per account and a ban on automated purchasing. Using many accounts, IPs and automated checkout bots to get past these limits usually violates the store's terms. Stores can cancel such orders afterwards, void raffle wins and close the accounts involved. A proxy does not make any of this compliant.

What a proxy cannot do:

  • It does not guarantee a purchase, a completed checkout or a raffle win.
  • It does not protect against bans, order cancellations or account closures. Stores also base their decisions on account, payment, shipping address and device signals.
  • It does not disable a store's queue, CAPTCHA or bot protection.

The purposes WeProxy services may be used for are set out in the acceptable use policy.
