Passo Proxy

A Passo proxy routes your passo.com.tr traffic through an IP you choose, usually a home broadband or mobile network in Türkiye, so you see pages as users in Türkiye see them. For access testing and consistent logins, a static residential IP on Türk Telekom or Vodafone fits best.

Which proxy when?

Sticky or static proxies suit long sessions and account consistency; rotating proxies fit high-volume crawling and distributed requests. Pick the closest product below.

IPv6 proxy packages are a cost-effective option, but the target site must support IPv6. You can check whether a site supports IPv6 with the IPv6 Checker. If you need help, contact our support team.

What is a Passo proxy used for?

Passo is a ticketing platform in Türkiye that sells tickets for events such as football matches, concerts, theatre plays and festivals (passo.com.tr). Tickets for professional football matches are sold on a personal basis through the Passolig system, and each ticket is matched to the buyer's identity details. A Passo proxy routes your traffic to Passo through an IP address you choose, usually a home broadband or mobile carrier network in Türkiye, instead of your own connection. A proxy changes only the network layer; it does not change your account, identity verification, purchase limits or your place in a sale.

Legitimate uses of proxies around Passo:

  • Ticket availability and price monitoring. Checking at low frequency and without logging in whether an event has gone on sale, its category and price information, and its sales status.
  • Access testing from Turkish networks. Checking how event pages and the sales flow load from different Turkish networks such as Türk Telekom and Vodafone, and from mobile connections.
  • QA tests by organizers and agencies. A company organizing an event, or its promotion agency, verifying that its own event page, images, price categories and links appear correctly once live.
  • Account security and consistent logins. Keeping the login location consistent when signing in to your own Passo or Passolig account while travelling or from shared networks.

For the general framework of price and availability monitoring, see the market research use case. The same monitoring logic for sneaker stores is covered on the sneaker proxy page.

Which proxy type should I choose for Passo?

The choice depends on whether the job requires a logged-in account and which network the test needs to come from. When monitoring public event pages, IP changes are not a problem. If you work with an account, the IP must stay the same for the whole session.

Datacenter IPs are registered to the ASNs of hosting companies. High-demand sales pages usually apply stricter checks to these ranges; for a realistic test from Turkish networks, residential or mobile IPs give more meaningful results. The technical differences between types are explained in the residential vs mobile vs datacenter vs ISP proxy comparison.

Why test separately from Türk Telekom and Vodafone networks?

A website can load over different routes and with different latency from different carriers' networks. A DNS, caching or routing problem at one carrier can affect only the users on that network. Organizers and technical teams want to see that the event page loads properly from the most common home broadband networks before sales open. At WeProxy, Türkiye static residential IPv4 packages come with IPs on the Türk Telekom and Vodafone networks. Taking one fixed IP from each network makes it easy to compare the two side by side. You can see which network an IP belongs to with the IP lookup tool.

How do event organizers test Passo pages?

When an event page goes live, a concert or festival organizer wants to check the page buyers see from the networks buyers use, not from the office connection. The office network is often tied to a single carrier and can show a cached view.

A typical checklist:

  1. Does the event page open from Türk Telekom and Vodafone IPs, and is the load time acceptable?
  2. Are the event name, date, time, venue and category details correct?
  3. Are the price categories and their descriptions correct as published?
  4. Does the page show the same information on the mobile site and over a mobile network?
  5. Do the links in promotional campaigns go to the correct event page?

These tests do not require completing a purchase. If a purchase is needed during testing, it should be made within the official process the organizer runs with Passo. A proxy only shows how the page looks from different networks.

How do you monitor ticket availability and prices on Passo?

Tracking when an event goes on sale, which categories have sold out, or whether a new session has been added is common work for organizers, media outlets and researchers who follow events. This monitoring should stay limited to public event pages.

A sound monitoring setup looks like this:

  • Work without logging in. Do not use a personal Passo or Passolig account for monitoring.
  • Keep the frequency low. There is no need to reload an event page every few seconds; during the rush of a sale this adds to the platform's load. Intervals measured in minutes are enough for most monitoring jobs.
  • Use a Turkish IP. Choose the Türkiye location so pages are monitored as users in Türkiye see them. How country and city targeting work is covered in the proxy geo-targeting guide.
  • Respect 429 and 403 responses. 429 means you have hit a rate limit; do not carry on by switching IPs without waiting. For what response codes mean, see the proxy error codes guide.
  • Prefer official notifications. Following Passo's and the organizer's own notification channels for event announcements uses fewer resources than automated monitoring.

A proxy does not move you up the queue when sales open and does not reserve tickets. Monitoring only gives you more regular access to information.

Rotating or sticky?

If you check a public event page at low frequency, a rotating IP is enough. If you need to keep the same IP for a whole check, you can pin it for up to 24 hours on the rotating residential product by adding a session ID to the username, and for up to 60 minutes on rotating mobile. For details, see the sticky vs rotating proxy guide.

Does a fixed IP help secure a Passo or Passolig account?

Partly. The basis of account security is a strong password not used anywhere else, up-to-date phone and email details, and the verification steps the platform offers. A proxy does not replace any of these. The connection to Passo is already encrypted with HTTPS; a proxy does not add a layer to that encryption.

What a fixed IP contributes is consistency. A user who logs in from different countries or networks every time can prompt the platform to ask for extra verification. Someone who lives abroad or travels often can keep the login location consistent by signing in to their own account from the same Turkish IP. Points to watch:

  • Each person uses only their own account. Passolig is personal; managing someone else's account or sharing accounts does not fit this model.
  • Do not open the same account sometimes with and sometimes without the proxy; the benefit of a fixed IP comes from consistency.
  • Keep the browser's time zone and language consistent with the IP's country (Europe/Istanbul, tr-TR).
  • WebRTC and DNS leaks can expose your real IP next to the proxy; for a checklist, see the DNS leak and WebRTC guide.

Why choose a Türkiye-located proxy for Passo?

Most of Passo's users are in Türkiye, and the platform's pages are built for that audience. To get meaningful results in access tests, page view checks and availability monitoring, requests need to come from Turkish networks. A check made from abroad does not show the experience of a user in Türkiye.

At WeProxy, Türkiye static residential IPv4 packages come with IPs on the Türk Telekom and Vodafone networks, support HTTP and SOCKS5, and have unlimited traffic per IP. Türkiye packages have no UDP; website and app traffic runs over TCP, so this is not a constraint. The rotating residential and rotating mobile products also have a Türkiye location. The real SIM mobile proxy has a Türkiye package too; availability can change, so check the product page.

We do not give information about any Passo rule or restriction on access from abroad. If you have problems with an account or a purchase from abroad, contact Passo's own support channels.

How do you set up a Passo proxy?

  1. Choose the product. Static Residential IPv4 (Türkiye) for access testing from Turkish networks and consistent account logins; Rotating Residential IPv4 for availability monitoring; Rotating Mobile IPv4 for mobile view tests.
  2. Get the details from the panel. After payment, host, port, username and password appear in the customer panel. Instead of username/password you can also authorize with an IP whitelist; both work on HTTP and SOCKS5.
  3. Enter them in your tool. In your browser profile, test tool or monitoring script, set the proxy type (HTTP or SOCKS5), host, port, username and password. To convert between formats, use the proxy format converter.
  4. Verify the exit. In the What is my IP tool, check that the IP shows up in Türkiye and that the carrier is the network you expect. Quick check from the command line:
curl -x "http://USER:PASSWORD@HOST:PORT" https://api.ipify.org
  1. Run the first test. Open Passo's home page and a single event page you want to monitor; check that the page loads fully and the details display correctly. If you will use an account, start with a single login and complete any verification by phone or email if asked.

Which rules and limits apply when using a Passo proxy?

Ticketing platforms apply purchase limits and terms of use so that tickets reach real attendees. Using many accounts, IPs or automated purchase bots to get past these limits violates Passo's terms of use, and collecting tickets for resale on the black market can create legal problems in Türkiye. In such cases tickets can be cancelled and accounts closed. A proxy does not make any of this compliant. Read Passo's own terms of use page for the current terms.

What a proxy cannot do:

  • It does not guarantee a ticket and does not move you up the queue in a sale.
  • It does not protect against bans, ticket cancellations or account closures.
  • It does not change identity verification, the Passolig match, or the platform's waiting and security steps.

The purposes WeProxy services may be used for are set out in the acceptable use policy.
